Family & Friends CPR/Defibrillator Course
Join us for a free, hands-on CPR and defibrillator training course designed for anyone who wants to learn lifesaving skills in a supportive, non-clinical environment. This course is perfect for parents, grandparents, caregivers, teens, and anyone who wants to be better prepared in an emergency.
This 2-hour session will be led by trained staff from St. Anthony’s Hospital and follows the American Heart Association’s Family & Friends® CPR curriculum. Instruction is provided using AHA’s practice-while-watching method — a proven approach that gives participants the most hands-on practice time possible.
🧠 You Will Learn:
Adult Hands-Only CPR
Adult CPR with breaths
Child CPR with breaths
Infant CPR
Adult and child AED (defibrillator) use
How to respond to choking (mild and severe airway block) for adults, children, and infants
How to recognize when and how to use a defibrillator (AED) in an emergency

Free to attend
No written test required
Includes a Certificate of Participation
Open to ages 9 and up
This course is for general knowledge only — it does not provide job certification

A sign-up sheet is located in the Parish Hall and will be available until October 10th. We must have an accurate headcount in advance, as the number of staff provided by St. Anthony’s Hospital depends on how many participants are expected.

Nature Walk
Fellowship in God's Creation
Come join us for a time of fellowship, reflection, and connection with God’s beautiful creation during our Nature Walk. We gather on the first Saturday of each month (October through June) at 8:00 AM for a peaceful walk through nature that refreshes both body and spirit.
Each month, we explore a different location, offering new sights and quiet moments to enjoy the wonder of God’s handiwork.
This month’s walk will take place at Coffee Pot Park. Everyone will meet in the parking lot. The walk will wind its way along the bay almost to downtown and back.
This walk is open to all — individuals, families, and friends — and is a wonderful way to grow in community, appreciate the outdoors, and start your weekend centered in God's presence.

Festal Evensong & Rededication of the All Saints Memorial Garden
Join us for a special Festal Evensong with Bishop Douglas Scharf as guest preacher and officiant. He will also preside over the rededication of the All Saints Memorial Garden.
The garden, which has recently undergone a thoughtful renovation, will be blessed and rededicated during the service as a sacred space for remembrance, reflection, and peace. It honors those who have gone before us and continues to be a place of prayer and quiet beauty for our parish community.
Festal Evensong is a choral service of Evening Prayer, marked by beautiful music, scripture, and prayer. This celebratory form of worship is part of our Anglican tradition and offers a moving way to close the day with thanksgiving and reverence.
A catered reception will follow the service in the Parish Hall.

Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida 57th Diocesan Convention
The 57th Diocesan Convention will be held at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center on Friday, October 10, and Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Friday will feature a full day of learning, including a plenary session led by Bishop Doug Scharf on the future of the diocese, followed by four strategic planning sessions with national leaders. Saturday will include our Diocesan-wide Holy Eucharist and Convention Business Session.
Please note: All clergy, along with the Administrator and Communications Director, will be out of town attending the convention on behalf of the parish.

Nature Walk
Fellowship in God's Creation
Come join us for a time of fellowship, reflection, and connection with God’s beautiful creation during our Boyd Hill Nature Preserve Walk. We gather on the first Saturday of each month (October through June) at 8:00 AM for a peaceful walk through nature that refreshes both body and spirit.
Each month, we explore a different location, offering new sights and quiet moments to enjoy the wonder of God’s handiwork.
This month's walk will begin at the Visitor Center.
This walk is open to all — individuals, families, and friends — and is a wonderful way to grow in community, appreciate the outdoors, and start your weekend centered in God's presence.

Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting
A closed AA discussion meeting is held every Friday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the Parish Hall.
This is a Closed Discussion meeting — intended for A.A. members only, or for those who have a drinking problem and "have a desire to stop drinking."
Please note: While the meeting is held at our church, we are not affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous. We simply provide the space in support of recovery and community.

Looking for a fun and welcoming way to spend your afternoon? Come join the Mah Jongg Group at St. Bart’s! We gather in the Parish Hall on the first and third Thursday of each month from 3 to 4 PM. Whether you're brand new to the game or a seasoned player, you’re invited to enjoy the strategy, laughter, and camaraderie that Mah Jongg brings.

Holy Communion with Prayers for Healing
Join us every Tuesday at 9:30 AM for a quiet, 30-minute service of Holy Communion that includes prayers for healing through the traditional practices of laying on of hands and anointing with oil. The service includes a brief homily and offers space for spiritual comfort and renewal.

Holy Communion Service- Rite II
Join us each Sunday for our principal celebration of Holy Communion (also known as the Holy Eucharist), featuring choir, contemporary language, and a welcoming worship experience. The service includes scripture readings, prayer, music, a meaningful sermon, and the sharing of Holy Communion.
Sunday School is offered for all ages during worship, providing age-appropriate formation for children, youth, and adults.
After the service, gather in the Parish Hall for fellowship and refreshments—a chance to connect, build relationships, and feel at home in our community. Whether you're visiting for the first time or have been here for years, all are welcome.

Rector's Forum
Join us each Sunday at 9 - 9:45 AM for the new Rector’s Forum, an educational gathering in the Parish Hall with coffee provided.
This September, Father Ethan will lead a guided tour of our Liturgy of Holy Communion, exploring specific prayers and the reasons behind our worship practices. Many find that understanding the words and meaning behind the prayers helps deepen their connection to Sunday worship. Childcare is offered during the forum for all ages.
Everyone is welcome to join — come learn, ask questions, and grow in faith together!
