Join us for a joyful Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis Day — a time to celebrate St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment, and the special bond we share with all of God’s creatures.
Bring your beloved pets — great and small — for a special outdoor blessing in our courtyard. If your animal doesn’t travel well, you’re welcome to bring a photo to be blessed instead!
Special Guests, Food & Fun
🐶 Compassion Kind Foundation will be joining us with adoptable dogs looking for loving homes. Compassion Kind works to strengthen the human-animal bond through animal rescue, advocacy, disaster relief, and compassionate community projects.
🦉 George C. McGough Nature Park will join us with some of their amazing birds, giving guests an opportunity to meet and learn about local wildlife.
🐾 Waggin’ for Wellness Holistic Dog Food Truck will be on site with fresh, all-natural meals and treats made especially for dogs! From breakfast and dinner bowls to yogurt treats, pupsicles, and snacks, there will be plenty for your four-legged friends to enjoy.
🎟️ 50/50 Raffle benefiting Compassion Kind Foundation! Half of the raffle proceeds will go to the lucky winner, and the other half will be donated to Compassion Kind Foundation to support their work helping animals in need. The winner will be announced at the end of the event.

This beloved tradition reminds us of the sacred bond we share with all living creatures and gives us an opportunity to celebrate the beauty of God’s creation and the animals who bring so much joy to our lives.
This event is free and no registration is required. All are welcome — two-legged, four-legged, feathered, furry, and everything in between!
