Parish Nurse

I am overjoyed that I have answered a calling to be St. Bartholomew’s Parish Nurse. 

I am an RN with a designation as a Faith Community Nurse which means I am able to marry  my nursing expertise with my faith to be able to holistically care for the members of St Bartholomew’s in body, mind, soul and Spirit. 

I will walk alongside you and promote wellness while intentionally caring for the spirit. As your Parish Nurse I will provide: 

1. Monthly blood pressure screenings. 

2. Monthly health topic information on a bulletin board in the Parish Hall.

3. Educational programs on current health/wellness topics. 

4. Home and hospital visits when appropriate and arrange for follow up services as needed.

I am a current Registered Nurse and have successfully completed the Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Curriculum.

I work hand in hand with Baycare Health System's Faith Community NursingProgram. 

I CANNOT 

Perform invasive procedures, diagnose, prescribe, give medical advice, or work as a private duty nurse. 

I look forward to seeing what plans God has for us as we walk this journey together.
