Join us for a free, hands-on CPR and defibrillator training course, open to St. Bart’s parishioners and the entire community! Parents, grandparents, caregivers, teens, neighbors, and anyone who wants to be better prepared in an emergency are welcome. We encourage you to invite friends, family, and neighbors to join us!
📢 St. Bart’s ushers, greeters, and anyone who works with our children are especially encouraged to attend this training if possible.
This 2.5-hour session will be led by trained staff from St. Anthony’s Hospital and follows the American Heart Association’s Family & Friends® CPR curriculum. Using AHA’s practice-while-watching method, participants will have plenty of opportunities for hands-on practice.

Adult Hands-Only CPR
Adult CPR with breaths
Child CPR with breaths
Infant CPR
Adult and child AED (defibrillator) use
How to respond to choking in adults, children, and infants
How to recognize when and how to use an AED in an emergency

Registration is required so we can provide St. Anthony’s Hospital with an accurate headcount. The number of staff provided for the training will depend on the number of participants registered.
