Join us at St. Bart's for three Wednesday evenings of Advent reflection, supper, and fellowship as we prepare our hearts for Christmas! Fr. Ethan will lead us through a special study of Saint Mark's Gospel, exploring its messages and meaning during the Advent season.
Saint Mark’s gospel makes no mention of announcing angels, overflowing inns, virgin births, or wise men from the East, and yet its full of the themes of endings and beginnings, repentance and transformation, faithful discipleship, and good news. This year’s Advent supper series will focus on three passages from Saint Mark’s good news of Jesus Christ to open our spirits for the mystery and joy of Christmas.
